1. How do I know endovenous laser ablation (EVLT) is the right treatment option?

All of our patients are evaluated in our clinic to determine if people with venous conditions are candidates for EVLT. If you’re not sure, feel free to call our office to talk over the diagnosis.

2. Other places offer venous ablation. Why should I choose to Veradia?

Veradia specializes in interventional radiology, the specialty that pioneered minimally-invasive, image-guide therapies. This is all we do. And in our opinion, that’s always the best option.

3. How long will I have to wait to get into Veradia?

We can generally schedule an appointment within a week or two after the initial phone call. Sometimes sooner.

4. Is EVLT covered by insurance?

Yes. Most insurance companies will provide coverage for treatment of symptomatic venous complications, including varicose veins. It’s best to have your patients call their insurance providers to find out what exact coverage will be.

5. Can I expect to make repeat visits?

Not in most cases. Laser vein ablation is 97% effective, so there should be no reoccurrence in treated varicose veins. However, patients with very complex disorders may require more than one type of procedure.
